Saint Laurent's Cultural Hub

In today's fast-paced fashion industry, which grapples with challenges in both physical and virtual spaces, the emergence of hybrid destinations catering to slower-paced consumption is increasingly evident. These destinations offer opportunities for activities such as reading books, listening to vinyl records, and appreciating artworks within a single space. Saint Laurent, renowned for its edgy, bold, and provocative aesthetic with a rock 'n' roll flair, sets a new benchmark by combining elements of a beautifully designed retail space with those of an art gallery. In this context, the house presents its latest addition to the family, inviting us to explore its innovative concept.

@Saint Laurent

Under the artistic direction of the house's creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, Saint Laurent Babylone has unveiled its doors at 9 Rue de Grenelle in Paris' 7th arrondissement. With its historical ties to founders Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, its chosen location seamlessly integrates into the intellectual ethos of the Sèvres-Babylone quarter.

Embedded within the brand's philosophy, a cultural spirit continues to shape the rhythm and future vision of Saint Laurent. This is exemplified by the brand's ventures into music and cinema. Naturally, expanding into cultural realms represents another strategic step to solidify its position on the cultural scene.

For enthusiasts of the Saint Laurent’s universe, the library offers a serene blend of soft creams and whites, juxtaposed against an industrial ambience that complements the surrounding Haussmannian architecture. Within this captivating space, visitors can immerse themselves and flip through pages of curated books, attend live music sessions, participate in author readings and signings, and ideally, connect with a community of like-minded individuals.
